Note: The ingredients in bold (above) are listed on several online cosmetic databases as having potential harm.

While these ingredients are in the middle to bottom of the list (ingredients are listed in descending order - i.e. from the greatest amount to the least amount used), they are still present in the product.

Directions: Use daily. Apply small amount to face. Wash off thoroughly.

Panel's findings on the Dagny and Lane Ocean Face Cleanser

The testers with oily skin reported the cleanser to remove dirt effectively. They, like many of the other testers, appreciated a cleanser that lathers.

For some reason, many think a lather cleans better. This is a not true, however this misconception is traditional or "comfortable" - something we've almost been "programmed" to believe.)

The testers with dry skin said the Dagny and Lane Ocean Face cleanser was gentle and did not cause a tight feeling, which can happen to dry skin when a cleanser is not a creamy type.

Those with sensitive skin said the cleanser was effective and did not cause any irritation or tingling. (Manufacturers often use tingling ingredients because consumers tend to think a product is more effective if they can feel it working - which, again, is not true.)

All testers found the fragrance to be light or negligible; it didn't bother any of the them.

In summation, Dagny and Lane Ocean Face Cleanser effectively removes dirt, washes off easily, has no significant fragrance and did not irritate any any skin type.

The price for the bottle is reasonable.
