Arbonne eye cream

Arbonne eye cream (RE9 Anti-Aging line) contains 61 ingredients, a mix of mostly chemicals with a few herbs.

Proyethylene glycol is listed under its acronym, PEG-100. (Propylene Glycol (PG), Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), and Ethylene Glycol (EG) are all petroleum derivatives that act as solvents, surfactants, and wetting agents. They easily penetrate the skin and can weaken protein and cellular structure.)

This Arbonne eye cream contains other known toxins:

• Butylene glycol

• Stearic acid

• Tocopherol acetate

• Polyamino sugar condensate (nasty stuff!)

• Urea (restricted in Canadian cosmetics)

• Ceteareth-20 (restricted in cosmetics' use in general)

• Hydrogenated lecithin

• Stearamine

• Ethylhexylglycerin ("limited evidence of eye toxicity" - and it's in this eye cream!!)

• Disodium EDTA

• Potassium sorbate

• Phenoxyethanol (restricted in cosmetics use)

• Limonene (known human immune system toxicant)

• Linalool.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd prefer to spend my money (and less of it) on high-quality, certified organic products.

IF you have time to research the long list of ingredients in Arbonne products - IF you can find one whose ingredients are safe - IF you have extra money to spend - and IF you purchase an item and get a container that doesn't break or malfunction, Arbonne eye cream or other products may be right for you.

I'm reminded of the old commercials of kids trying to pronounce the names of artificial ingredients of other brands as opposed to the cream, vanilla and sugar in one particular brand.

It's hard to beat effective, simple, straightforward information/ingredients.

Hard work pays off in the future;
laziness pays off now..
